Hispanic Heritage Month: Things to do

HISPANIC HERITAGE FESTIVAL

Friday October 15 and Saturday October 16 at 7:00pm

In celebration of the Hispanic Heritage Month, the Brooklyn Music School is kicking off the first Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival to celebrate the richness and diversity of the Hispanic Community in New York. On October15 and 16, Brooklyn’s community will experience dances, music and performances of Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Festival combines, on one stage, flavors from Colombia, Panama, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Cuba and is an initiative of the Cultural Dance Division of the Brooklyn Music School. The goal is to celebrate and promote cultural diversity within the Brooklyn community.


The event will take place on Friday October 15 and Saturday October 16 at 7:00pm at the Brooklyn Music Playhouse Theatre located on 126 Saint Felix St. Brooklyn NY 11217

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the school or on the school’s web page
www.brooklynmusicschool.org or www.iseats.net for $10.00 dollars in advance or $15.00 at the door.
Brooklyn Music School has been committed to culturally enrich the community for over one hundred years and the Hispanic Heritage Festival is a fantastic way of continuing the tradition.
